Terms and Conditions for Electric Vespa Rental



Article 1: acceptance of the T&Cs

By paying the deposit, the tenant acknowledges having read the conditions of sale and accepts them.

Article 3: Condition of the scooter

When the Scooter is handed over and when it is returned, a report on the condition of the Scooter will be drawn up between the tenant and the lessor.


Article 3: Return schedule

The tenant must respect the return times agreed upon at the time of rental. Any delay of more than 30 minutes will be charged €10 per additional 30 minutes, and any half-hour started will be charged.


Article 4: Itinerary:

The renter agrees to respect the route of the Road Book. The routes have been tested and correspond to the autonomy of the electric Vespas. In the event of a battery failure due to non-compliance with the route that requires intervention on our part, this will be charged €100. The renter can organize himself within this route as he wishes without exceeding the number of km provided in the Road Book (70 km maximum).


Article 5: Liability

Vespas are equipped with alarm (with remote control), handlebar lock and padlock. When stopping and parking, the renter must use all 3, otherwise, he will be responsible in case of theft. The rented vehicle, which does not cease to be the property of the lessor, must be returned by the renter or at his expense, to the place where it was rented during the working days and times displayed. It is expressly agreed that the lessor, at the end of the planned rental period, and in the absence of express renewal of the rental, may, without any formality and without legal proceedings, immediately repossess the said vehicle, in whatever hands it may be and subject to any claim for additional damages for the loss caused. The lessee is strictly prohibited from abandoning the vehicle without having obtained the written agreement of the lessor. If it is impossible to repatriate the vehicle, it will be at the expense and by the lessee, the remaining rental due until the return of the vehicle. If damage is found on the vehicle when it is returned before the end of the contract without the presence of Events et Loisirs staff or at the end of the contract without the presence of Events et Loisirs staff, the customer will not be able to dispute the invoiced damage. may claim (in addition to repairs) up to 10 days maximum of immobilization of the vehicle for repairs at the daily rate of 1 or 2 days. We remind you that it is forbidden to wear earphones or make phone calls... Please note that driving while drunk or under the influence of drugs is strictly prohibited. In the event of an accident, the insurance no longer covers the scooter and all costs will be borne by the renter. In the event of immobilization of one or more scooters by the police due to non-compliance with the law by the renter, the recovery of the scooter(s) will be charged €100.


Article 6: Insurance

Scooters are fully insured (€500 excess) in the event of damage or accident, in the event of liability incurred and/or shared. The customer must carry out an inventory of the vehicle when establishing the contract; the customer cannot be released from liability if damage is noted under the terms of the rental. In the event of minor damage, the cost of operating loss (estimated by the rental company), damaged or broken parts, and a labor charge will be required. Driving off-road is strictly prohibited. The renter will be held financially liable for any damage incurred while using them; a labor charge (€60 per hour) for damage assessment will also be required. The renter is fully responsible for any damage or loss of helmets and gloves (if the option is purchased). An anti-theft device is provided with the scooter; in the event of loss or damage, the anti-theft device will be charged €25. Scooter rental is exclusively reserved for use on the Road Book routes. The scooter may not be driven by anyone other than the customer identified on the contract. This rental is personal and non-transferable. It is concluded for a fixed period as specified in this contract. Insurance is only in effect for the stipulated rental period. If the renter keeps the vehicle beyond this period without having regularized their situation under the conditions provided for in the contract, they lose the benefit of all the guarantees provided for in the contract. If the customer loses or breaks a key, they agree to pay the company Events et Loisirs. It is forbidden to take a passenger.


Article 7: Highway Code

As soon as the renter takes possession of the vehicle, he becomes the sole legal guardian and therefore remains solely responsible for any fines, tickets, reports and customs proceedings issued against him. Minors under 18 are not authorized to drive the scooter. In the event of an accident due to serious misconduct (lack of control due to drunk driving or excessive speed), the renter


Article 8: Condition of the vehicle

By taking the vehicle, the renter acknowledges that it is in good working order. The renter may not claim any compensation for interruption of service, incident or attributed accident or malfunction of the vehicle, nor under this pretext avoid the commitments incumbent upon him. The renter acknowledges that the vehicle includes the normal accessories and optional equipment that he must return in good condition, failing which he will have to pay the value at the price of the tariff. It is forbidden to make modifications or transformations on the vehicles. For the entire duration of the rental, the tires resulting from the normal use of the vehicle, but not from clumsiness or inexperience of the driver, accident of running flat, skidding, braking, non-exhaustive list. Having acknowledged the good condition of the tires at the start, the renter may not under any circumstances use a fortuitous burst, even if it is suspected to have been the cause of an accident, to avoid the obligations incumbent upon him. Tire punctures and repairs are the responsibility of the tenant at the current rate.

The tenant agrees to respect the highway code. In the event of a fine, the lessor will report the tenant, who will have to pay it.


Article 9: Mandatory equipment

CE approved helmet (available as an option when ordering if required)

CE approved glove (available as an option when ordering if required)

A high-visibility vest (to be worn in the event of an accident or breakdown, provided by us)

Copy of registration documents and insurance. (provided by the rental company)


Article 10: Insurance

The lessor certifies that the Vespas are insured with the Mutuelle des Motards under the member number 1095374 Z.


Article 11: Dispute

The parties expressly agree that any dispute that may arise from the execution of this contract will fall under the jurisdiction of the commercial court of Grenoble.
